McShep Artwork
When I make icons they're typically a crop and re-size of a much larger piece I've pulled together using multiple caps, photos, and layers. Often, the piece is left unfinished after I've cropped out what I was working toward and I usually end up discarding them. Recently, that's led to frustration when I go through my icons for posting and realize that I really would have liked a copy of the full-size piece for my gallery.
As a result, I've been trying to make a conscious effort to save my .psd files on some of my more complex pieces before I perform the final cropped merge so I can go back and 'finish' the full-size piece later if I so choose.
These recent SGA/McShep pieces are examples of going back to finish what I started.
