* sii-i-ighhh * I certainly hope I've commented before to tell you how much I love the Foster's Bakery 'verse, for all the reasons this gem exemplifies: Rodney's & John's hesitant, frequently-awkward advances into the fearsome, treacherous Land of Relationships... their bravery when they fü¢k things up & hurt each other & still gather their courage & try again... the lovely warm support & understanding from other characters, encouraging them to persevere as they cross the alien terrain... & the bakery itself, which is a steamy enveloping OC (& big ol' yenta) IMO.
Plus, y'know, the mouth-watering descriptions of John's creations, & the just-as-tasty guy-lovin'. Like Rodney, I'm all for giving creature comforts their due & encouraging enthusiasm & creativity. ;-D Thanks very much for writing & sharing!!
